Prof. Nazrul Islam is the chairman oftheBoard of Management of Jessore Community Eye Hospital &isgiving community eye care at his home district Jessore. He isalsoa member of the executive board of Asia Pacific GlaucomaSociety(APGS), Asian Angle Closure Glaucoma Club (AACGC) andcontributingin this field from Bangladesh.Interested in research, Prof. Nazrul Islam is the authororco-author of over 60 medical and scientific papers. HeeditedJournal of the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh(1995-2000),Edited Journal of the Bangladesh Academy ofOphthalmology(2003-2006).
